History
LIGHTHOUSE CONSTRUCTION L.C is a local building company that has a firm
knowledge base in both Commercial and Residential construction. Nate Brusik, the
owner of the company, began his construction experience in 1993. In 1996, Nate
began to work in the commercial construction industry as a metal stud framer and
drywaller. Nate worked on several of the valley’s prominent buildings. As an
employee of commercial construction companies, Nate worked on the following:
Dillard’s at South Towne Mall, the Gateway Building at Thanksgiving Point, The
Dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving Point, and others. Nate left in 1997 to serve in
the Veracruz, Mexico Mission for the LDS Church. In 2001, he began working as a
Superintendent for a local home builder. Since, he has built nearly 300 homes.
During this experience building, Nate compared and managed subs and prices. He
has established a strong foundation of reliable sub contractors. Due to Nate’s
experience in Commercial and Residential construction and fluency in Spanish, he
provides an efficient service for clients. Lighthouse Construction company has
an excellent relationship with quality sub contractors who understand the
importance of superior workmanship and prompt service, coupled with good
communication. Our goal at Lighthouse Construction is to provide quality
services at an affordable price and a reputation that clients can trust and
enjoy.
Project Process
Each project begins with a pre-construction analysis. During this
period Lighthouse meets with the project’s architect and other design engineers.
An analysis of the building site is also conducted. After these initial
meetings, Lighthouse is able to provide a cost estimate for the project. The
cost estimate is based on current bids and labor rates provided by Lighthouse’s
subcontractors. This complete cost estimate is used for bank financing. The
entire project is bid out before construction begins. During the construction
phase, additional bids are gathered and compared to insure the owner is
receiving the best rate. Bidding out the entire project ensures that Lighthouse
is able to keep the project within budget. By having all jobs bid prior to
construction, Lighthouse is also able to determine an accurate completion
timetable. Lighthouse takes pride in offering superior quality with and a
defined build time. Furthermore, Lighthouse maintains a schedule throughout the
project. This schedule is updated daily to reflect small changes in estimated
times.
